I got tired of constantly looking up what the different blocks look like so I made myself a handy rock garden. I will probably move this indoors now that my tower is up.
I found some puppies so I took a break and made them a home.
Hoff wasn’t paying attention so I trapped him in the most indestructible stuff I could find.
And after 5-6 diamond picks, ~300 TNT, and 10k blocks or varying nature I finally got the outer structure of my tower built. Just ignore the missing block 3/4 of the way up; apparently I was a tad sleepy.
Some things I’ve learned so far:
Sand makes good scaffolding. You just jump up it in a giant pillar and then to removed it just hit the bottom a few times with the shovel and it will keep falling to that spot.
Light TNT with the left click of flint and steel. It avoids forest fires of which I’ll plead the 5th.
Dig out paths and pools before adding water to them.
