So far I have 5 spawn areas and space cleared for a sixth. The rate isn’t quite there yet so I’ll probably add more.

I found an area in 1.8 where I could mine some of the new stone. After walking around a little I noticed there was a nearby ocean. 8 night vision potions and 10 boats (these things still break way too easy) later I found an ocean monument!
I chugged an underwater potion and took a quick look around. These things hurt and really hate squid. Time to set up camp on a nearby island and going on a raiding spree later tonight.
Update to snapshot?
I know we don’t normally do this but would there be interest in updating to one of the more stable snapshots? I was thinking one that Hermitcraft uses so we can start doing some of the new stuff. There are still bugs and it is a snapshot so I’m not sure of all the problems in it. Let us know.
